Comparing the Effectiveness of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and an Integrated Package of Gestalt Therapy and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy on the Self-Efficacy of Women with Breast Cancer

Background: Breast cancer, as the most common prevalent cancer in Iran, is associated with severe psychological consequences. This study aimed to compare effectiveness of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) an integrated package Gestalt and (GT-CBT) on self-efficacy women breast cancer. Methods: research was a quasi-experimental pre-test, post-test design control group. Sixty patients referred Cancer Clinic Imam Khomeini Hospital Tehran City, were recruited through convenience sampling method. They randomly assigned (n=20), CBT GT-CBT (n=20) groups. The data collected by Sherer scale analyzed using descriptive (Mean±SD) inferential statistics (analysis covariance [ANCOVA]) SPSS software, v. 20.
